myDGR

myDGR provides annotation of diversity-generating retroelements (DGR) systems, including reverse transcriptase (RT), target gene,
template repeat (TR), and variable repeat (VR, which is part of the target gene). Additional features including GC-rich inverted repeats (forming hairpin structure) and accessory gene will also be reported if applicable.

A showcase: DGRs detected in Thiohalocapsa PB-PSB1 (GenBank GCA_016745215.1) (myDGR report) (paper: Targeted hypermutation of putative antigen sensors in multicellular bacteria (PNAS 2024))

See a quick example: DGR predicted in Bordetella-phage-BPP-1, and more examples in the Demo Page
